No. III
The Pantry
Oats, Honey, Cream
Colloidal oat suspended in milk, set with raw clover honey, finished with a softness like fresh cream. The Pantry is the warmest of the three. Gentle enough for the sensitive, sweet without sugar, the soap a grandmother would have made for everyone in the house.
Six-week slow cure. Wrapped in vellum paper, sealed in oxblood wax.
Ingredients+
Rendered beef tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, distilled water, colloidal oats, raw clover honey, goat’s milk powder, vanilla absolute.
The cure+
Most artisan soap is cured for four weeks. House Vellum cures for six. The extra two weeks give a harder bar that lasts longer in the dish, lathers more cleanly, and finishes smoother on the skin. There is no shortcut to this. Only the wait.
